If you accidentally delete an email, you may be able to recover it from the Deleted Items folder, provided it has not been permanently removed.
Step 1: Open the Deleted Items Folder
- Log in to your business email account.
- In the folder list, click Deleted Items.
Step 2: Locate the Deleted Email
- Browse the emails in the Deleted Items folder.
- Select the email you want to recover.
Step 3: Restore the Email
- Right-click the email and select Undelete, Move, or Move to Folder (depending on the available options).
- Choose the folder where you want to restore the email, such as Inbox.
- Confirm the action.
Step 4: Verify the Email
- Open the destination folder.
- Confirm that the email has been successfully restored.
Recover Multiple Emails
- Open the Deleted Items folder.
- Select one or more emails.
- Right-click and choose Move or Undelete.
- Select the destination folder and confirm.
If the Email Cannot Be Recovered
An email may not be recoverable if:
- It has been permanently deleted.
- The Deleted Items folder has been emptied.
- The email has exceeded the retention period set by the system administrator.
If you cannot locate the deleted email, contact your email administrator or hosting provider for further assistance.
Note: Emails permanently deleted from the Deleted Items folder may not be recoverable.
Tip: Regularly review the Deleted Items folder before emptying it to avoid accidentally losing important emails.
