Flagging an email helps you mark important messages that require action or follow-up later.

Method 1: Flag an Email from the Message List

  1. Log in to your email account.

  2. Go to your Inbox or the folder containing the email.

  3. Click the Flag icon next to the email.

  4. The flag will turn red, indicating that the email has been flagged.

Method 2: Flag an Email from the Context Menu

  1. Select one or more emails.

  2. Right-click the selected email(s).

  3. Click Flag.

Note: If you flag multiple emails at the same time, you may be asked to confirm the action.

Method 3: Flag an Open Email

  1. Open the email you want to flag.

  2. Click the Mark menu in the toolbar.

  3. Select Flag.

Alternatively, click the Flag icon in the email header to mark the email for follow-up.

Find Flagged Emails

To view all flagged emails:

  1. Open the folder where your emails are stored.

  2. Click the Filter option at the top of the message list.

  3. Select Flagged.

Only flagged emails will be displayed.

Remove a Flag

To remove a follow-up flag:

  • Click the Flag icon again, or

  • Right-click the email and select Unflag, or

  • Open the email, click the Mark menu, and select Unflag.

You can also remove flags from multiple emails at once by selecting the emails, right-clicking, and choosing Unflag.

Tip: Use flags to mark emails that require follow-up, such as pending approvals, unanswered messages, or tasks that need your attention.
