How to Set Up & Configure Email on a Mobile Device
Required Information
1. Email address (e.g., yourname@example.com)
2. Password for the email account
3. Incoming mail server (IMAP or POP3)
4. Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
5. Port numbers and security settings (SSL/TLS)
For Android
a. Open the Email app (e.g., Gmail or Outlook)
b. Click the (+) button to add an account
c. Enter your email address and select SET UP ACCOUNT MANUALLY
d. Under Advanced (choose IMAP settings), and show ADVANCED SETTINGS.
e. Enter the incoming and outgoing mail server settings.

For iPhone (iOS)
1. Open Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account
2. Enter your email and click Add Account
3. Under Advanced > Choose IMAP setting (IMAP is recommended for syncing email across devices).
4. Enter the incoming and outgoing mail server settings:

5. Tap Next, and the device will verify the settings
